About the Show
A CHRISTMAS CAROL
NOV 23 – DEC 29
WILSON STAGE
Rochester’s favorite holiday tradition returns in a refreshed adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic story by Award-winning playwright Harrison David Rivers! Beginning with a wish made by young Tim Cratchit, over the course of one night notorious grump Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by four ghosts. But will their intervention prompt him to change his “humbug” ways? Filled with humor, heart, hope – and a little bit of horror – A Christmas Carol reminds us that it is never too late to have a change of heart.

In collaboration with Sally Lobel

Mondays at Geva will feature a discussion panel for A Christmas Carol, centered around disability representation in the arts. The panel will include Sally Lobel and members of the creative team.
The Many Adventures of Tim Cratchit: Reimagining Disability in A Christmas Carol. “Tiny” Tim Cratchit is one of the most well-known disabled characters in popular culture. Yet, this representation of disability has been firmly stuck in the past. Join us at Geva for a discussion with some of the creative team of A Christmas Carol to explore how updating Dickens’ classic meant rethinking that treatment of disability and bringing Tim into today’s world.
