This year, we’ve seen just how much Geva means to Rochester
… and how much Rochester means to Geva.
We are so grateful for your support.
During the challenges and losses we’ve all faced this year, our community of supporters has stood by Geva Theatre Center. You gave in so many ways.
You donated your time: over 15,000 hours of it during the 2019-20 season.
You generously donated the cost of your tickets once we had to close our doors: about 3,100 households chose to turn their ticket cost into a gift.
And you answered the call to help Geva weather the storm of a devastating financial loss: more than 350 people made their first donation this year.
We are humbled and honored to be your regional theatre and to serve our Rochester community through performance, education, and engagement. We are committed to sharing stories that inspire, entertain, and move us. We are also committed to finding creative ways of providing the things you cherish most about live theatre while we continue to keep each other safe by staying apart.
Together, we’ll ensure that the future of live theatre made with and for our multifaceted city is beautiful and bright. You’ve shown us that Geva is so much more than a show or a season: it’s all of us, together.
We can’t thank you enough.
