Want to talk about the play you just saw? Curious about how the artists approach their work? Sunday Salon is an informal opportunity for audience members to ask and answer questions with cast members in the production. Sunday Salon is held immediately following the second and fourth Sunday 2:00 p.m. matinee performances of Wilson Stage productions in Geva’s subscription series. This event is free of charge and open to the public. Please note that this program is not offered for A Christmas Carol or Summer Series productions.

Explore our building, the stage, and meet artists from each department to understand the many roles that combine to create the magic you see in Geva’s productions.

Geva’s Hornets’ Nest Series presents readings of contemporary plays investigating some of the most challenging and controversial ethical dilemmas of our time. Galvanizing post-play discussions are led by key experts and instigators from the Rochester community.
This project was born of our passion for open and free dialogue. It is essential to us that access to this forum – if it is to be a true community dialogue – remain free and open to all.

How to Get Your Tickets for The Hornets’ Nest
All Hornets’ Nest readings are held in Geva’s Fielding Stage. Tickets are free and limited to two per person. Reservations are highly recommended – many events sell out! Reserve online or call the Box Office at (585) 232-4382.
Leadership support for the Hornet’s Nest is provided by Jack and Barbara Kraushaar, The Mary S. Mulligan Charitable Trust, New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and The New York State Council for the Humanities.

A 1.5 hour guided behind-the-scenes tour of our facility illuminates the process of bringing plays to life, so come visit our rehearsal hall, the workshops where props and costumes are constructed, dressing rooms, backstage areas, and – oh yes! – come stand on our stage!
How to Schedule a Theatre Tour
Due to the large number of events which take place in our building, tours will be scheduled subject to availability, and we recommend requesting a tour at least two weeks before the date you wish to visit the theatre. There is suggested donation of $25 per tour; this fee is waived for groups with limited resources.
