DÉA JULIEN (Ensemble) is an actor and musician from NYC. Credits include: West Side Story First National Tour (Rosalia, dir. Arthur Laurents/David Saint). New York: Conduct of Life (Boundless Theatre Co), STET (Abingdon Theatre), Intimacy (The New Group), Blueprint Specials (Public Theater UTR/Waterwell), Lawnpeople (Cherry Lane), Julius Caesar (Pocket Universe), The Seven Little Foys (Fringe NYC), Suzan-Lori Parks’ 365 Days/365 Plays (Public Theater/TADA!), Metropolitan Opera Children’s Chorus. Regional: The Wolves (TheaterWorks). Film: Cut in Half (dir. Susan Seidelman), Public Speaking, Stanley & Afsaneh, Fan Girl. Déa is also a writer-director. Her film De Jadis won the audience award at the Catapult Digital Opera Festival, and her play Sanctuary, commissioned through the Muse project, was workshopped at the Flea in NYC and is currently being adapted into a short film.
