MJ Savastano is an actor, teaching artist, voice-over artist, and writer based in the Rochester area. A performance educator with Geva Theatre Center for several years, MJ teaches a Shakespeare Touchstone workshop with fellow educator Danny Hoskins. Most recently, MJ reprised their seven roles in the one-person production of The Amish Project with Hummingbird Theatre Co. Other credits: Jamie O’Neill’s At Swim, Two Boys (Doyler, adapter) with DVC (dream/visualize/create); Hamlet (Hamlet) and Vivien Leigh: The Last Press Conference (Vivien Leigh) with Screen Plays; Edge (SP) with Method Machine; and Twelfth Night (Sebastian) with Blackfriars Theatre. MJ has performed in numerous theatrical productions as well as films, commercials, webisodes, workshops, and theatre-based training sessions across the country.
