Improv, short for improvisation, is theatre that’s made up on
the spot. We take suggestions from the audience, and turn them
into a scene, hopefully with hilarious consequences. Since every
performance is one-of-a-kind, we never know what’s going to
happen. This makes every show a totally unique and memorable
experience!
Our Show takes many forms, and while the content is unplanned,
the format you see may be one of several in our repertoire. Some
shows pit two teams of performers against each other. Other times,
we’ll perform a full-length improvised play. Check our home page
to see what format we’ll be doing on the night you come.
PLEASE NOTE:
We rate most shows PG-13. However, due to the unscripted
nature of the show, ADULT CONTENT, including language,
violence and naughty inuendo, may be featured. Ye be warned!
Your visit. Tickets for most performances are $10.You can pay
at the door, but we recommend buying online. Snacks, beer, wine
and soft drinks are available at the GCI bar before (and during)
the performance.
FACE-OFF Two teams of improvisers go
head-to-head in a contest of quick thinking,
bold action and wanton humiliation. Come
and root for your favorite team, bask in
their victory, or wallow in their loser-shame.
MOVIE NIGHT We pick a well known
genre of movie (sci-fi, western, spy thriller
etc.) and enact a 90-minute improvised play.
We’ll bring the costumes and props - you
bring the awesome suggestions. Together,
we’ll bring Hollywood to it’s knees!
HOLIDAY SPECIAL Whether it’s New
Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day or Halloween,
GCI always has a special theme show to
celebrate the holidays. Check back for
