December 14, 2009, Rochester, N.Y. Geva Theatre Center is looking for a few talented young playwrights! The theatre is seeking plays and playwrights for its Young Writers Showcase to be held Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Geva's Nextstage at 2pm. The showcase gives young area playwrights the opportunity to take their scripts from page to stage with the help of Geva actors, directors and dramaturgs. Plays must be submitted by February 3, 2010.

When we have a showcase for adults, we encourage writers. When we have a showcase for young people, we create writers!

Entrant Guidelines

  • Plays for consideration must be submitted (postmarked or hand-delivered) to Geva Theatre Center, 75 Woodbury Blvd, Rochester, NY 14607 by February 3, 2010.
