Rochester, N.Y., October 8, 2009 – Geva Comedy Improv continues the hilarity with two new shows to celebrate Halloween.

Friday October 23, 10:30pm – CAMPFIRE IMPROV

Sit back and tense up as the cast of GCI reenacts classic tales of terror by the glow of a crackling campfire, sure to leave your spines tingling and nightlights blaring. Be sure to break out your best Halloween costume and watch the show in ghoulish glee. The best costume, as judged by the GCI cast, will get to accompany Dwayne Claud (author of Rochester Haunts, Baptism by Fire) and Western NY Paranormal for a real life ghost hunt and paranormal investigation in Geva Theatre Center!

Saturday October 24, 10:30pm – IMPROV OF THE LIVING DEAD

Pack up your chainsaw, gas up the flamethrower and rummage through your purse for shotgun shells. GCI is waking the dead and we want you there – for bait! If you missed our improvised live-action Zombie Movie last year, now is your chance to find out if you’ve got what it takes to survive the horde of flesh-eating, brain-craving undead. Strong language, violence and adult content – viewer discretion is advised. You may also get splattered with stage blood – plan accordingly.

Both shows are at 10:30 pm in the Nextstage at Geva Theatre Center, and will feature $2.50 Labatt Blue and Blue Light beer specials, prizes and audience participation.

Get your tickets at www.gevacomedyimprov.org or by calling 232-Geva (4382). For more information about Western NY Paranormal visit www.wnyparanormal.org. Late night thrills and chills await, along with plenty of cold beer, hot blood, and a lukewarm sense of safety…
