Geva Theatre Center, a LORT B and D theatre center, is looking for a wardrobe supervisor to manage the wardrobe and crew of an 8 show season that runs late August to Mid-July. The position is full-time, salaried, with benefits. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional, personable, and have experience dressing larger scale shows. Experience with hair and wigs is preferred.
Duties will include: wardrobe maintenance, wig maintenance, basic sewing repairs, assisting actors with hair, make-up and quick changes, creation of run sheets and quick change plots, as well as helping to train and supervise additional wardrobe crew.

Geva’s Company Management is the first line of welcome for all guest artists, providing safe travel, clean and comfortable housing, and in-town support for all guest artist needs.
Geva’s Literary Department is committed to the development of new American plays and musicals; it produces a variety of public readings and workshops throughout the year, and maintains active relationships with writers and agents from around the country, and the Rochester region.
Assist Company Manager with execution of contracts, guest artist hospitality, travel and housing arrangements, oversight of company housing and transportation, purchase orders, and other duties as assigned.
Assist Literary Manager with script database management, playwright/agent correspondence, production assistance for literary events, execution of contracts, purchase orders, and other duties as assigned.
This individual must be a self-motivator with strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, and an attention to detail. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have a valid New York State driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Position is full-time 40 hours per week includes benefits.

Geva Theatre Center, New York State’s most attended LORT theatre, seeks an experienced professional Grant Writer. The individual selected will identify, define and develop funding sources to support existing and planned programs as well as coordinate new funding for development programming.
Responsibilities include: preparation of proposals and grant applications, research and identify new government, private and public funding prospects, identify funding opportunities and new program areas to match organization priorities, using research tools, vendor negotiation, mailings and follow-up calls/actions, interact with staff to indentify funding prospects.
Requirements: minimum 5 years grant writing/fundraising experience with non-profit organizations with experience in marketing, site selection, and budgeting helpful. Detail oriented with strong time management and interpersonal skills. The need to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. EEO

Geva Theatre Center, the leading regional theatre in the western New York tri-state region, seeks applicants for a Properties Artisan/Swing Carpenter. Under supervision of properties master, Candidate will be tasked to create all manner of hand-properties, furniture and scenic dressing. Candidate must have skills in hand and computer graphics, furniture construction/finishing/upholstery, and be proficient working with a wide variety of materials. Candidate must have knowledge of period style. Other duties include organization and cleaning of properties stock and regular tool maintenance. Position will have a secondary task as scenic carpenter and will occasionally be scheduled to work under the supervision of the technical director.
